This stand is located in the Ardenne near Willerzie (49.9564N, 4.8327E) and is part of the European long-term forest monitoring network (level II plot of ICP-forests). It has been classically managed as even-aged stand with thinning operations every six years (cutting cycle). In 2009, Norway spruce seedlings were present sporadically but their abundance is increasing with time.
